MLA Black Ink 

Black Ink

• When typing in MLA format only Black Ink is acceptable.
• To change the text to Black Ink go to the "Font" box on the Home tab and select the icon with the letter A and a colored underline on it.

MLA Double-Spacing 

In order to Double Space your document you must be on the Home tab.

Next click the "Line-Spacing Button" and select 2.0 to double space your document.

MLA and APA Font

• When typing in MLA format make sure to change the Font to 12, Times New Roman.
• This also applies to APA format.
• The Title must have the first letter capitalized.
• The use of Bold, Italics, and underlining is not accepted.
